Andrea Stitt | Part-time Portrait and Family Photographer | Pratt, KS

I have been taking photos since I had access to mom's 35mm camera for my first photography class. I must have gotten my love from my dad; he would take photos on vacation and put more of the landscape in the picture than the family. I was the one in the photos showing off my dorkiest poses and expressions, I was a nerd even back then.

My creative passion for art has been with me for as long as I can remember; I say it's because I was born on Earth Day. Through High School I really came to love it, mainly because I had an amazing teacher. I graduated from Kansas State University with a B.F.A in Ceramics and a B.A. in Art History. What I've learned from college I want to bring to my photos; the drive and passion to connect with what you are creating.

I absolutely love working with kids and my passion is art. I am able to work with both volunteering at the library with art classes. I love making things from scratch and by hand, whether it be quilting and sewing or baking and cooking. As you will get to see I enjoy crafting my own props. I look forward to creating special memories for each client that in turn will be enjoyed for many years to come.

With my husband Jeremy as my funny and wonderfully talented assistant we have become a team that works together to capture amazing moments. His lively and spirited demeanor brings laughs and smiles to every session.

As of the last couple of years my husband and I have added a new addition to our family. Evelyn Rose who has been an absolute wonder and blessing from God. She is our inspiration and guiding light. Because of her we are more focused on family and child photo sessions. We hope that her smile will bring as much joy to our clients and viewers as it has brought to our lives.

This past year has held many new changes for us. We have found ourselves through the work of the Lord to be located in Pratt, KS. My faith has been strengthened and blessings have been granted to us in many forms. We have both seen our dreams change. The Lord has granted me the opportunity to become an artist through another venue of painting. Check out my artwork and let us know what you think of our next venture!
